I am happiest outdoors and am often found walking, cycling or wildlife watching. My work as a freelance writer and photographer enables me to explore Scotland and try many different activities.

In 2009, I started Catkin Press – a small, independent publishing business. Its books aim to help readers enjoy healthy, active lives, in touch with nature.
